Family Pictures

It's hard when you get pictures done to just post a few... so I'm not going to. I'm going to post a whole bunch of them! We really did pick a horrible day to get pictures done. It rained the majority of the time, Darek had just woken up from a nap and was kinda in "Momma mode", and there was a bit of wind to go along with the rain. So I wasn't expecting too much from our photos. How pleasantly surprised I was to look through them yesterday! So I'll quit typing here and post these beautiful photos. Oh and to give a shout out to our photographer, my wonderful friend Koreena took our pictures. You can visit her blog to look at the other great photo shoots she has done.

There are so many pictures I want to comment on individually, but my laptop is about to die. Not that I'm biased, but I sure have an adorable family!

FINALLY!

We did it! We got family pictures taken yesterday! Can you believe it? I know I can't! We won't have the pictures for a few weeks still, but we took a few while we were waiting for our photographer to arrive. The reason Darek isn't in any of these ones is because he was asleep and there was NO way I was gonna wake him. We didn't pick the best day for pictures as far as weather was concerned. But we made due and actually had a really great time. I can't wait to see how our pictures turn out!

Graduation

I'm so late in posting this, but there is no way I can pass it up completely! My amazing husband graduated on May 5th! During his two years in the Radiologic Technology program, a lot has happened. About a month before he started school, I went from working part time to full time and he went from full time to part time so he could focus more on school. Until all that changed after his second week of school when the magical call came that we would be getting twin boys! Immediately, he was in contact with work to get back into a full time job so that I could stay home with our children. It still amazes me to this day that he did it without question. Somehow he managed to miss a few days in the third week of his program so we could fly back and sign papers to get our sons. He managed to live through the stress and pain of his full time job and full time school as one of our boys passed away. Again, never once complaining. And through it all maintained a 3.90 GPA throughout the program.

Ryan is truly an amazing, loving husband. He is an incredible, adoring father. And those roles have always come before anything else. He is a exceptional friend, student, son, brother and uncle. I admire Ryan for so many reasons. I am so grateful for his selflessness and willingness to support our family. I know we don't have a perfect life, but at many times, it feels pretty close to perfect.

Ryan, thank you for putting up with everything and hopefully you will have enough sanity left to get through your MRI program. I love you so much and am so proud to be able to call you my husband!

(I didn't get any great pictures at graduation, but we have a graduation BBQ coming up this weekend, so hopefully I'll get some then.)
